When I joined the PGDM program at Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School, I didn't fully realize how much these two years would shape me, not just professionally, but as a person. Looking back now, as an Equity Researcher at Indsec Securities and Finance Limited, I can say with certainty that this institution gave me far more than a degree.
Here's what made my time at DSGS truly memorable.
The Foundation: SEP Program
It all began with our SEP Program, where I had the opportunity to gain immense knowledge from our esteemed faculty right from day one. This early exposure set the tone for everything that followed, it pushed me to think critically and laid the groundwork for the rigor that defines the rest of the course.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Being surrounded by supportive and motivating colleagues constantly inspired me to give my best. These two years have been among the most enriching of my life, largely because of the people I got to learn alongside. I discovered that a curious mind combined with a strong work ethic can truly lead you to great heights and our faculty were instrumental in this journey, consistently guiding us, pushing us beyond our limits, and helping us realize our true potential.
Building Confidence Through Events
The various events organized by the institution played a significant role in my development. Anchoring at Sabrang taught me how to hold an audience and think on my feet. Participating in the Assessment Centre sharpened my self-awareness and professional readiness. Each of these experiences contributed to building my confidence, networking, and social skills in ways a classroom alone never could.
The Value of Sportsmanship
Representing our team in Versus was one of the standout experiences of my time here. It taught me the value of sportsmanship and how it shapes you for the long run, lessons that go well beyond the field and into how I approach work and competition today.
Final Thoughts: Meet Me at the Peak
Being a part of this institution is something I will always be deeply grateful for. I carry immense appreciation for every individual who has been a part of this journey with me, the faculty, my colleagues, and everyone who pushed me to grow.
