1. Introduction & Objectives

The Vibranz Marketing Club has successfully organised Decode Fundazz, an interactive marketing competition designed to enhance students' brand awareness, creativity, teamwork, observation and communication skills. The event provided students with an opportunity to apply marketing concepts through fun and experiential activities.

2. Pre-Event Planning & Infrastructure Readiness

The competition was planned in two rounds, with students divided into 14 groups. The organizing team prepared the brand logos, jingles, quiz questions, memory-game material and logo-making activity. The required audio-visual equipment, presentation setup, seating arrangements and evaluation sheets were organised before the event.

3. Event Flow & Proceedings

Round 1 – Brand Identification consisted of three sub-rounds:

  • Logo & Jingle Identification: Students identified blurred brand logos and recognised brands through their jingles.
  • Brand Quiz: Teams answered quiz questions related to PG-level/general brand knowledge.
  • Brand Memory Game: Students participated in a memory-based activity involving brands.

For the second round, eight groups were qualified to the next stage of the competition.

Round 2 – Logo Creation & Presentation:

Teams were asked to create a logo for a brand/concept and present it to the judges. They explained the idea, symbolism, colours and concept behind their logo. This round assessed creativity, brand understanding, presentation skills, and teamwork.

Certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners and the runners-up.

4. Key Outcomes & Institutional Impact

The event encouraged experiential and student-centric learning and helped develop students' brand awareness, creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, communication and presentation skills. It also provided practical exposure to branding and marketing communication.

The activity supports institutional objectives, particularly teamwork, communication, problem-solving, creativity, experiential learning and holistic student development.
